This whole thing smacks of an act, just like the war was.

Isn't it odd that Russia was paying Ukraine to transit gas through it to Europe until recently? I thought there were sanctions and why pay your enemy?

It's a bullshit 1984 endless war. People suffer economically on both sides.

When an enemy country attacks your country with the aim of permanently occupying some of its useful sites of land, most of the nation loving population regard it as their duty to "rally round the flag" and go so far as to give their lives in order to throw out the invaders. I would do the same and probably most of these persons reading this too. So Zellinsky will try to get outside help from any other place that he thinks should give it, and the US certainly has the means to assist him.

Should Russia (and Putin) manage to take over much of the Ukraine, it will be encouraged to go further in its desire to get back the countries it occupied when in the past role of the USSR! Trump does not seem to realise what is implied in making peace now. The history leading up to WW2 is starting to repeat itself, but with Putin not Hitler pulling the puppet strings.
