This whole thing smacks of an act, just like the war was.

Isn't it odd that Russia was paying Ukraine to transit gas through it to Europe until recently? I thought there were sanctions and why pay your enemy?

It's a bullshit 1984 endless war. People suffer economically on both sides.

When an enemy country attacks your country with the aim of permanently occupying some of its useful sites of land, most of the nation loving population regard it as their duty to "rally round the flag" and go so far as to give their lives in order to throw out the invaders. I would do the same and probably most of these persons reading this too. So Zellinsky will try to get outside help from any other place that he thinks should give it, and the US certainly has the means to assist him.

Should Russia (and Putin) manage to take over much of the Ukraine, it will be encouraged to go further in its desire to get back the countries it occupied when in the past role of the USSR! Trump does not seem to realise what is implied in making peace now. The history leading up to WW2 is starting to repeat itself, but with Putin not Hitler pulling the puppet strings.

David - you then only watched the trailer not the entire video? Then there is no point in carrying on this conversation, unfortunately, because there is no basis for shared understanding.

Thanks for this video trailer. Fascism is alive in many countries and is opposed to the socialism that the communists are still being encouraged by Russia. Ukraine does not need to have to fight within itself without the Russians participating, because it will add to the destruction through the current warfare. When Ukraine becomes more democratic, their Fascist elements will discover how little they count! I doubt if Trump and the US realise what is implied here should the Russians achieve victory, and the peace that he is seeking is likely to have both good and bad consequences.

David - I do not share your negative views on Russia, we must have different sources of information. Might you please view the documentary Ukraine on Fire by Oliver Stone (free online) and Jeffrey Sachs recent speech to the European Parliament? Then get back to me, okay?

Linsey Graham bends with the wind. He'll curry favor with whoever is in power. I don't trust him one iota.

The minerals deal was never very important. Trump wants to end the war and normalize relations with Russia but he is not wiling to acknowledge that it was the US and NATO allies that provoked the war to begin with.

Ziolenskiy said "suka, blyad" (сука блять) to J.D. Vance. Fits right in with the O'Bidens and Neocons!
